Also I want to say GREAT VIDEO! SO SO HELPFUL! 🔧⏰💻💡💰🤔
I am in the process of getting my first store up.
I want to know, if I
start out with a general store, but want many products in it.
Is this route going to be better for me?
Also or to start a Niche Store ?
I am am confused on the process.
@Mike & Yuliya Pavlou loved your interview!! Just wondering how and where do you set up to add a charitable cause?! Is it on Shopify?! Can you help me with that?! Pleeasee!!!!
Mike & Yuliya Pavlou , hi which app again did you used for email marketing please thanks
I am just starting and would love to convey with you guys on some ideas on where to go with this…love hearing the success model that you two have completed…
To whomever it concerns at Oberlo:
I, and a LOT of people, would love to see a video on the challenges and struggle that highly successful dropshippers INITIALLY faced, and HOW they deal with those issues on a technical level.
Thank you for your time.
Yes I totally would like to see the same. It looks like sometimes they are just marketing their business model.
@Oberlo The challenges they faced and how they dealt with all of that to remain in business even with a low capital would be great. Thanks
Thanks for this feedback Thoros! What issues do you find challenging that we can ask dropshippers for more transparency around? -Jessica
Thanks for sharing this, Emma! Are you more interested in the story of how people got started (why they started dropshipping), or the challenges they faced (e.g., wasting money on Facebook ads)? – Jessica
This is helpful to hear, Tatiana! What kind of challenges are you struggling with that we can create videos on? Product research, store design, or marketing? Or something else? -Jessica
This show is very interesting for many reasons. I am personally impressed by the cultural aspect. Taking the example of the silicon ring (product #2). This product is sold at 1/2 a USD on AliX, and Mike & Yulia mention USD 25 as a probable selling price. Such profit is in my opinion impossible to make in the European market for the simple reason that most of the people know about AliX and they systematically benchmark on it. I learned that i should sell to US. thank you
Great tips guys! Ill definitely be working more on my email campaigns. I have question though, specially for those selling viral products hitting the millions; how are they financing the orders in a short space? Bank loans, savings or just avoid it until your cash-flows are able to handle?
Thank you guys for sharing this valuable content, I’m a big fan of Oberlo and appreciate all the free content. My biggest question is since a lot of payment processors nowadays don’t like drop shipping or ask sellers to provide invoices from suppliers, which is hard to obtain from Aliexpress suppliers, how can we resolve this issue and choose the right payment processing company without having an account reserve or limit?? Please help with issue!
Another great video! Thank you for the interview and also to them for the great information they provided.
QUESTION: Do they have a different store PER each niche? Or do they sell all of the products in ONE store?
Mike & Yuliya Pavlou That makes total sense. Thank you for responding. Wishing all of you at Oberlo and to you Mike & Yuli all the best. I’ve subscribed to your channel and your videos are well done and super informative. Thanks again!
These products would all be sold in different stores in different niches.
Amazing interview, as usual from Oberlo!
I have a question though, how did they build a brand having different stores of different niches? Did they create them all under the same brand?
Thank you!
Hi! Thanks for watching!
So we haven’t sold all of these products. We wouldn’t recommend housing all of these products under one store. Just giving examples of different products that would fit into different niches. We currently have 4 different niche stores as of today.
I watched 3 videos from Dropshipping success stories and I must admit it really gives you motivation to start! There is lots of useful content and tips! Half of this is not included in the courses I bought in order to start my dropshipping business! Thanks!
really amazing. so much great information. thank you so much. But my question is how many shipping days does it take to deliver your products? Do you think that costumers bother when it is 15 days shipping time or 7 days (unlike amazon just 2 days )? how do you solve shipping time?
roger shaibani people are willing to wait. Especially if they buy from a Facebook ad. Your job is to come up with unique names and angles. That way people think it’s your product and wouldn’t even consider looking it up on amazon. Our shipping times from China are 7-15 days. At 500+ orders/day people hardly complain about shipping times. We post them on our page, and don’t hide that fact. People are still willing to buy.
Hi, I am interested in learning the range of profit margins. I have seen some drop shippers with 15% profit margins and others with 30% profit margins. What would be the main factors that determine these differences in profit margins? Thanks! Love the videos by the way!
Hey! Great question. There isn’t a set number you should go for since it will depend on the product you’re selling and how much you think you can sell it for. Then you want to think of how much the product price is with shipping. Look at all those factors and decide what makes sense for your brand and the price point your brand wants to represent. I hope that helps. 😀 -Jessica
Andrew Merrill-Facio there are so many different factors. Whether you are doing low or high ticket determines how much you can really mark up your products, which affects your gross profit. After that, the biggest thing that affects your net profit is how much you spend on ads. Also what people consider net profit can be subjective. If you’re structured as a corporation, we’re counting payroll taxes, health insurance, and all VA costs into that number.
Hi, Thanks, Really awesome content! Thanks a lot for that. If you ask me, I would say a video that talks about the copyrights issues with dropshipping. My dropshipping business is in the Watches & Fashion industry, and it is unbelievably hard to import products from AliExpress and edit them in your store in such a way that it will be free of copyright troubles. Every watch is full of brands and logos, (Even after i remove the logo from the image), I didn’t started my business yet, Just uploading products to my store in the last month, and now i removed all of them, I literally going to buy a one sample of each product and take the images by myself. Even I contacted every seller in AliExpress before i imported their products to my store, and they said no problem. I just can’t do that, I’m 100% sure that something will go wrong with that. Literally there are some dropshippers that got sued just because the copyrights of the images they imported from AliExpress. And i don’t even want to talk about the fashion industry, With all the models in the images, If you import such products from AliExpress to your store – You actually ruin your business with your hands. These are my thoughts. Am i right? Please put your voice in the comments, i want to know what you think. Probably i wrong, Who knows. Any idea how to deal with that? Awesome content, Like every video. Thanks a lot!!!
Thanks a lot!!

Hi Mike and Yuliya . Thanks for sharing insights of your dropshipping business . I am a retired architect based in Perth , Western Australia, who is considering creating business online by selling new designed products being under my brand rather selling some ready made products. I am wondering how you manage to alternate design or to create new designs ? Who has helped you on that ? Have you engaged manufacturer directly or you have engaged specialist product designer to work on your idea to develop prototype first then approach manufacturer ? Also how you have protected your product ideas ? It is well known that Chinese manufacturers / suppliers may copy good idea and start selling as own. Would appreciate your honest response. Many thanks and all the best wishes for your success !
Bob Pavlovic we cant comment too much on all of that as our business is drop shipping based so we are not designing the products and coordinating with the manufacturer directly.
Interesting video, great team. Love the concept of the ergonomic baby carrier and the mermaid cove light
Appreciate the support!
Jessica, Mike and Yuliy, I wanted to know what is a great app to use with my Shopify store so people can fill out a form to seamlessly enter their info to get a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER? The apps I’ve researched and read reviews on said they don’t work well at all. Thankfully, I’ve only had 2 customers wanting to exchange or return an item only because they ordered the wrong size.
Great couple!
Great advice!
