A lot of the people on this show have ideas that can make them millions. They prove that someone like me can become rich. But I’m very unproductive and lazy, and for that reason, I’m out.

What I really like about Steve is that he very often sells the other sharks to the entrepreneurs by highlighting what the other can do.
He might be a bastard sometimes but I genuinely believe he has the founders best interests at heart and he really appreciates his colleagues

Yeah, he’s a bit of an emotional prick at times, but the more I watch, the more I respect him for being honest. He’s always straight up about his thoughts, at 24:30 he even called the brunette out on her BS. It makes sense why she said that, but it’s also playing directly against the entrepreneur.

in his defence, he probably just based it off predicted sales those ladies gave him. If they told him they were for sure going to be doing huge numbers soon, maybe even included that investment already, the valuation might not be that bad (assuming they promised him their predictions were accurate)

The fact that those women couldn’t see for themselves that $10M was a ridiculous evaluation before they even got there tells me they don’t have a head for business. I love their product but I do think it’s a bit pricey at $249

The party guy was partially right about one thing. Many people do want to visualize and see items they’re looking at picking. I def am one who likes going to party stores to get a better idea of how something looks because internet pictures can be misleading.
If they set up a lot of displays for different themes I think it would actually get people to buy more items because they fall in love with the over all look which can’t be achieved with only a few items.
Plus people def prefer trying on costumes before buying them.

I still respect these pitches because it takes GUTS to make a business, pursue a dream. It doesn’t always work out, but at least these guys tried, and I’m sure they will make it some day.

    Kudos for trying

@Keyser Söze unfortunately they had a super high evaluation with nothing to support it. Not even the data the accounts used to formulate the value. So it’s the high dollar amount combined with the lack of preparedness, which makes it just fantasyland

Also, the valuations! In the US they hear something like “5% for 500k valuation 10M” all the time and they take it serious, but in this one they goes nuts when the valuations are too high

I’m from the US, so I’ve seen so many of the American ones & was looking for some different content. I’ve been binging Australian Shark Tank & the Dragon’s Den episodes religiously!

Janine‘s hairdresser was probably cringing behind the scenes when she watched that woman slather her roots in hairspray and then fry them to a literal smoking crisp with her square shaped crimper. 😂

@Fine Art of I was a man I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t want long hair either. Lol 😆. I do wear ot up quite a bit. The funny thing is, I don’t realize how heavy my hair is until I get it cut & feel the relief. But thank u

    2. Fine Art

@Imjust Sayin as a guy, even shoulder length hair would be kinda annoying for me, but waist length! Hell nah. You’d have to tie it up anywhere you went, and would it be kinda heavy, like 500 grams or something? That’s awesome that you are making wigs for cancer patients tho

    1. Spacetime One O' One

Who the hell is going to go through that hassle, your not going to have Rupert Murdoch staying there for the night. Just a bunch of tourists and people of the community at best.

    2. INKintheHART

@Susan Anderson There are 10,000 possible combinations that the digits 0-9 can be arranged to form a 4-digit pin code. No one has the time or patience to figure that out. The only way for someone to get the pin number is to hack the database, again chances of that happening are super slim. Not to mention after every stay, codes would be reset via a random number generator. You are honestly more likely to lose your key card then have the pin code stolen.

  6. Illiterate Barbosa

I really dig the fact that the Aussie sharks are non-sensational and matter of fact when discussing why they think a business won’t in contrast to their British and American counterparts who try to humiliate contestants at every opportunity.

  7. Monsieur milous

After the show, her plane finally arrived. She stopped a cab and quickly hurried to the shark tank. The show has almost ended, hopefully the entrepreneurs are still there. Barbara really wants to make sure they know she’s out.
