PBD, Do you have an updated top 10 books to read, it will be interesting to see if any of these would be replaced since this post.
Hey @Gold Silver 6þ6⁶has 7

Hey Pat I’m 17 years old and I can’t remember the last time I read a book besides when a teacher forced me to. I picked up 33 strategies of war and this is the first time in years I’ve learned something meaningful.
That’s amazing brother!
I started seeing a friend listening to audiobooks because he said he is trying to get ahead; I didn’t consciously think about it at the time, but I’ve been thinking(not trying) about getting myself to read. My problem was I had a really bad habit with not finishing books, and I tell myself that it was just a bad book….but they are great books(started reading Machieveli: the Prince like a long time ago and never finished). Hearing you give advice saying something about audiobooks(especially since it reminded me of my friend) and giving a lot of book recommendations…… I think I am gonna start reading(I mean listening) a lot of books, and listening to these books will eventually get me reading. I am really bad at focusing on topics not created by me, and that’s why it’s really difficult for me to sit down n read. Listening to audiobooks will get me in the habit of reading books, and it will eventually become easy to focus on books. Thank you
+Akash Sarkar 👍🏼👊🏼 keep it going.
Love this episode! I messaged you a while ago, talking about how my younger brother wanted to either go to college or not. We have been using your videos to train our approach to our small business we are carrying out on the side! Great content! love it!
Im literally going to create a playlist of your videos. I’ve been watching them back to back for a couple weeks.
Although its a shame your content doesnt get as much attention as it should, it’s a blessing. You’re reaching those that need it most. You can have a more intimate relationship with your fan base than you would on a bigger platform! Thank you for your knowledge!
Hey Pat, one book I recommend for entrepreneurs is “The Zero Marginal Cost Society” by Jeremy Rifkin. It explains how changes in technology in the fields of information, logistics and energy changed human society and will change it in the future. And for fans of Capitalism (as both of us are) especially the part of the eclipse of Capitalism gives some interesting views.
Pat, I just have one thing to say-.” You are an E- MENTOR to me”. Thank u for not only recommending your favourite books , but also explaning the importance and reading out some excerpts. It has help me decide which book to pick currently relevant to me.
Great video. You mentioned education for a second. Yes, one has to have the desire to learn and improve. This comes from self-study, another form of entrepreneur type thinking. Increasing your personal value, and being the boss of it, helps to project creativity. This part of your essence creates values in which others will wish to buy.
Hey Pat! Its great to have this channel, I recently came by it (2 weeks ago). The best part is what you speak is not enveloped in and complicated with words. like a treasure in a maze. The content is clean, specific and to the point. Grateful. I have been through a lot of stuff regarding Doing Business and Entrepreneurship. The two sentences you speak here brings meaning to the 3 hrs I had put in to understand a particular content. Stay Blessed. Take care
Just finished power vs force. Great book. Quite challenging in parts but get through it, it’s defiantly worth it. Thanks Pat.
Hi Patrick,
I wanted to thank you for your extremely helpful videos.
I have a question that torments me for some time. I am an entrepreneur and I read self help and business books (that i’m applying).
My business takes time to start (for several reasons). However I have friends that have succeeded in other areas having not read any book of their lives. I would have liked your opinion on the subject.
Thank you 🙂
Appreciate your Help and Mentoring Thank you Patrick , you truly motivate me more and more , my name is Mo Kargar Persian moved from Kuwait with mon and sisters to US feb,2013 at age of 17 and was high school drop out (was focused on my boxing training more than anything ) went through up and downs for 2 years in Michigan. Worked support family and decided to move to Cali in sep,14 to build the American dream in one year became the General manager of training at big corporate and stop for a second and reflected on how far I’ve come and how much more I have to get to and visioned myself as an entrepreneur that one day I will be able to lead the future generation to bettering themselves and leading them to achieve there dreams and show them how anything is possible !!! And I came across your channel and found a great Mentor & one day I will meet you in person and thank you and be able to share ideas and learn from you in 🙏🏽
I really liked Good to Great by Jim Collins. It teaches on keeping a business focused on what drives its economic engine, what its entrepreneurs are passionate about, and what it can be the best in the world at; “the three circles” model. Have you read that book, Patrick? Great video! I will read all the books you kindly went over.
Good to great is a good book. It obviously did very good but it made it on my top 100 but not in the top 10.
Just got here a few days ago, and I can’t stop watching your videos!! Great job! Amazing advice! I am a 24 year old Costa Rican woman, no higher education whose dream has always been to become a successful business woman and I truly enjoy watching your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! 🙂
Love this channel! Great advise and guidance to the entrepreneurs out there
absolutely brilliant. you’ve got a great gift to teach and I can’t wait to tuck in to these books you’ve recommended. keep up the inspiring videos!
Thanks for sharing this collection, just finished with the book Emyth, it’s a game changer and started reading another book Crucial conversation it looks awesome so far. keep up the good work bro. God bless all peace 🙂
Started reading these financial/self-improvement books last month, and boy do people notice the significant change I’ve underwent ❤️🙏🏼
I finally finished Law of Success. I’m a slow reader, I guess, but my life has definitely improved. I have a chief aim that is becoming more defined the more I contribute to it. This vid was the first time I heard about that book.
Love the part where you mentioned how you became self-educated rather than paying a teacher who doesn’t own a business himself.
2 books on strategy and the art of leadership I really find packed full of knowledge and powerful insights:
1). ART OF WAR- Sun Tzu
2). The book of five rings- Miyamto Musashi
Ancient warrior philosophy but can be applied to modern day business!
