Top 5 Best Pitches From Female Entrepreneurs | COMPILATION | Dragons’ Den

Here are some of the most intriguing, moving and inspiring pitches we've seen in The Den from female entrepreneurs to celebrate International Women's Day.

An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

    Personally, I think the first pitch is one of the worst. Despite already being in the Den before, she was far too emotional, wasn’t willing to budge, fumbled her pitch, and alienated the Dragons by singling out Debbie

      Problem was complaining about a few percentages in equity, when Debra would sell a huge amount also with contacts in international/local would make up for the higher percentage in equity held

    I would have chosen Hilary for the graduate search business. It’s a business about humans more than about technology. Hilary is by far more emphatic than Peter. She would have been the better fit in my opinion.

      I came in right before she spoke about her father; my immediate reaction “this beautiful woman is stunning in every way, puts Michelle Obama to shame in every way…. She touched on her family’s hardship but kept it together in such a brilliant way”:Much 💞 & success to her!!
      P.s. I’m glad she teamed with Peter – he’s my favorite Dragon. He’s the most dynamic, savvy like all the dragons but there’s something very likable about him. And easy on the eyes 🤭

    Fun fact: In the two seasons that Jenny appeared, she actually made more deals (12 deals) compared to 4 other previous dragons that appeared for two seasons only, Nick Jenkins (8 deals), Sarah Willingham (5 deals), Kelly Hoppen (5 deals), Piers Linney (4 deals)

      @Stephanie
      It literally has nothing to do with the fact that she’s a female. The joke is that Jenny often didn’t invest and would typically pronounce herself out very quickly. Get over yourself.

      I think the dragons generally make offers with no actual intention to go through with the deal. Jenny on the other hand has the intention to go through with almost every deal she makes. That’s probably why it seems like she makes less offers.

      I think it’s incredibly patronising to women that they have felt the need to separate them out like this. Its basically saying that this channel believe that men do better in the den than women and they need to highlight a few who have done well
