The fact that he’s a 17 year old millionaire with an online business and is still going to school blows my mind. Starting early and prioritizing your investment is the best way of getting ahead to financial freedom. I’m 45 and my goal is to hit a million before eoy so I can retire 2022. Currently averaging over 20% monthly on my stock portfolio so I know I will get there. Time in the market beats anything else. I’ll take any ideas

Having monitored my portfolio performance which has made a jaw dropping $370k from just the past two quarters alone, I have learned why experienced traders make enormous returns from the seemingly unknown market.

I will definitely start my own business this year. I’ve always wanted to be an entrepreneur. My stepdad was/ is the only person who believes I could do it. He ask me all the time, “Boss lady, when you’re getting started?” This is my moment.

I can relate to the schools discouragement. When I was in year 10 I knew what I wanted to do which was become a counselor and this one teacher in particular was so discouraging It made me strive to prove her wrong so I left school to chase that dream. I ended up leaving my hometown and traveling Australia, all the way from the top of QLD to Tasmania whilst working from a cert lll up to a diploma. I’m now 17 and about to open up my first self funded business by the start of next year. I had many struggles due to my age but regardless I pushed through and I’m now at a place in life I’m happy with. Anything is possible with belief and support.

I go to a high school in a town that has mostly very high-income people, so the public schools are really good and have a lot of practical career education too. The parents know their kids can start businesses early, so the schools have entrepreneurship classes called “business incubator” that actually help launch the students’ businesses. If successful, rich parents know high schoolers can do it, I hope other schools find ways to encourage their students to do so too.

“The main reason people struggle financially is because they have spent years in school but learned nothing about money. The result is that people learn to work for money but never learn to have money work for them”

so true, I am a Ph.D. student in the engineering field. Until now I donno what to do after that I still feel worried if I can earn enough money or not. We were never taught to earn money just follow the basic rules of studies. Getting good grades and that’s all.

I most definitely agree with this! I feel that growing up majority of all children hear is what they can’t do and the lack of motivation. I feel that with your parents as a strong backbone it will help the kids succeed and reach their goals. With supportive parents I feel it will help you become more successful. And also have a more mature mind and opinion when making decisions

This comment resonated with me because I think parents can have a big effect on a child. If you are raised in an unsupportive or absent household it’s hard to build up the courage on your own to follow a “big dream”. Most big dreams for an ordinary kid are hard to follow immediately and it makes it especially harder whenever the people closest to you bring you down. Inner strength and drive are definitely also big factors but it definitely helps a lot whenever people care and support you. I don’t think that your parents can do it all for you or be your driving factor into becoming successful, that comes from within, but they definitely can have a big effect.

Starting early is the best way of getting ahead to build wealth, investing remains a priority. The stock market has plenty of opportunities to earn a decent payouts, with the right skills and proper understanding of how the market works

These kids have made a HUGE statement: investment into you, a positive outlook & a mind open to healthy opportunities, encouragement & support and willpower will do wonders for whatever your dream may be.
I wish them continued success and to be able to give at least 1 youngster a chance similar to the opportunities they were given.

How cool for the mother to work for her daughter and not allow ego to get in the way. It takes a lot of discipline for these young people to be continue to attend school whilst running their businesses 👏🏽👏🏽
